Hi Peeps,

Sorry for my delayed post, since back in Bangkok I'm totally busy.. this could be the last part from my previous post part 1 and part 2. All of us know that Bali have very rich culture not only from their religion but also art including dance, in this post I would like to write about two famous dancing that you have to watch when you visit Bali.

1. Kecak Dance :
If you wish to watch this special dance, you can come to Uluwatu temple by early evening... the show begin at 17.30, and the ticket gate open at 17.00pm. Ticket price Rp. 100,000 (I suggest you not buy online).
 View from Uluwatu

What makes Kecak dance special is the music provided by human voices, hundreds of men sitting make a circle, swaying, standing up, lying prone as the story develops

There will be a lot of fire, but it's safe... if you scared just sitting a bit high , the show its about 1 hour and the story taken from Ramayana the Hindu epic which finds its expression in many forms, not only in dance, but also in painting and carving. Another suggestion to come to this place you have to rent a car, because no taxi service.

2. Barong Dance :
We watched Barong dance in Batu Bulan, I think this place quite famous so if you hired a driver I'm pretty sure he will know. Different from Kecak dance, Barong dance start in the morning at 10am, the ticket price same as Kecak dance Rp. 100,000 and you can buy on the spot.

 The Barong

The Barong dance is the classic story of good (The Barong) triumphing over evil ( The evil witch Rangda). The Barong is a large lion type creature played by two men, Rangda is the epitome of evil with long fingernails and droopy breasts.
I enjoyed both Kecak and Barong dance very much, this is my first time watching them live, I love the gamelan music and all the arts that they are shown. I really recommend you to watch it especially with you family.

Well guys, thats all for my recommendation place to visit with your family in Bali. There are a lot of beautiful place in Bali that you can visit actually, but for those who doesn't have enough time these 6 places are worth to visit.
